Margot's Angel Scholarship Fund
With your support, we will honor the memory of Margot Secviar by ensuring young girls in the Northwest Indiana region can access quality education and pursue their biggest dreams.

Margot's Story
Margot Irene was stillborn at 36 weeks and 5 days in 2022. To keep her spirit alive, Ian and Kristen Secviar started the Margot's Angel Scholarship Fund, which would provide young girls with the means to pay their tuition at any high-quality, values-based school in Northwest Indiana. Despite their tragic loss, Ian and Kristen are driven to make a difference through their work with Big Shoulders Fund Northwest Indiana.
"Our daughter was the driving force behind that, and she’s inspired all of us to do things that are important for others and for the betterment of children in the community" - Kristen Secviar
October 30, 2025 marks what would have been Margot's third birthday. YOU can ensure her spirit lives on by supporting the Margot's Angel Scholarship Fund. Your investment will create opportunities and better the lives of young scholars in the communities with the highest need in Northwest Indiana.
